Douglas Dundonald, Chairman
Douglas Dundonald is a founder of MMIC Solutions, and a number of other technology companies. Douglas has been an investor and director of (UK and Australia) quoted public companies, and over the last 15 years specialised in building innovative technology companies. In recent years he has served as an executive main board director, and co-founded Anglo Scientific.
Rodger Sykes, President & CEO
Rodger Sykes joined MMIC Solutions in March 2006, having been a founder and CEO at SiConnect Ltd, and President and CEO at picoChip. Over his 26 year career in technology he has held senior management positions in the USA with Texas Instruments and Philips Semiconductors, and also with LogicVision Inc up to and through their IPO. Rodger has a PhD. in Device Physics and a BSc. in Electronics & Applied Physics from the University of Durham, UK
Peter Surrall, Finance Director
Peter started his finance career in multi-site retail systems. He then moved on to an engineering and manufacturing environment where he was Finance Director of a division in the Cosworth group, part of Vickers plc. He then spent six years as Operations Director of software provider, Speech Machines Limited, which was initially VC funded, but subsequently acquired by MedQuist Inc, part of the Philips group. He is an economics graduate and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Henry Hyde-Thomson
Henry Hyde-Thomson has more than 25 years experience of high technology businesses, founding several including Anglo Scientific and MMIC Solutions. He also founded Speech Machines which was acquired by Philips in 2001. Henry graduated from Oxford University in Physics, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG). In 1989/90 Henry was a Research Fellow in the Department of Computing at Imperial College, London. He holds a number of patents.
Graham Lee
Graham Lee is an experienced Managing Director, Chief Executive, and Chairman with extensive experience of the IT, microelectronic, and defense sectors. Having built and sold his own company providing ruggedized computers for defense applications, Graham now chairs a number of technology-related businesses and has in-depth experience of acquisitions and exits for start-up and SME companies. He is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and a graduate in Physics and Electronics.
Stewart Wallace
Stewart Wallace joined MMIC Solutions in July 2008. He has proven track record in working with venture capital backed technology start-ups, closing investment rounds and as CEO. Having sold his own manufacturing company in 2006, Stewart devotes his time to developing and growing innovative technology companies as Chairman or a Non Executive Director. Stewart is a professionally qualified Executive Coach and Mentor and also helps young entrepreneurs through the Princes Youth Business Trust. He is a graduate in Applied Physics and Mathematics.
