MMIC Solutions appoints Worldwide Sales Director

Ledbury UK. 8 October 2009 - MMIC Solutions Ltd. today announced that it has appointed a new Director of Worldwide Sales, Ian Greenshields. Ian brings to MMIC Solutions more than 25 years experience in RF and microwave semiconductors and sub-systems at TriQuint Semiconductor, Agilent Technologies, Hewlett-Packard and Plessey Radio Systems. MMIC Solutions Ltd. is fast becoming a leader in the millimetre wave industry in areas such as security, communications and defence, and Ian has been recruited to develop commercial engagements with MMIC Solutions’ rapidly-expanding international customer base.

Ian’s track record speaks for itself. During his time as European Sales Manager at Triquint Ian focused on wireless infrastructure, point-to-point microwave links and the aerospace and defence markets. Ian held several marketing and engineering management positions at Agilent, and customer and applications engineering roles at Hewlett Packard in both California and Germany. Ian also designed point-to-point microwave links for Plessey and has a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering Science from the University of Wales.
